Currently, no definitely not. It would be interesting if there were public contracts that paid very well but were highly selective - so you have teams competing for large payouts in exchange for building out government infra/services. Probably not going to happen though haha

SF tech is evil per many people in the govt. we’re the problem, not the solution - we only extract apparently.
on a more serious note, if the govt wanted to actually get better & efficient, they would’ve reached out a long time ago, no? -
Software driven solutions in government need to come from a high level, not a local one. Otherwise, you’ll end up building the same parent class thousands of times. It’s not like every jurisdiction is completely unique and orthogonal to all others. DRY applies.
