    Supporting our schools equitably to close achievement gaps means fully funding at-risk students as recommended by the city’s own adequacy study.

    DCFPI released a study saying that D.C. school budget cuts disproportionately impact schools in Wards 7 &8. 17 of 20 schools facing steep cuts are in these wards. Many of these schools are projected to see enrollment drops

    WaPo's reports DC base per pupil rate to incr 2.2% for SY1920. Barely higher than nat'l 1.9% inflation rate over last 12 mo. It leaves DC an add'l 5.2% short of adequacy rate identified in study now 5 yrs old & add'l 8.0% short of optimal rate.
