Gonna miss this guy! After more than 30 years in tv news, @DaveHWSB is leaving us to try something new. I think that’s amazing, but I will miss seeing his smiling face everyday - just a fantastic coworker along with being a terrific anchor, reporter & investigator

Dr Aarti Pandya agreed to a deal with federal prosecutors -she’ll pay $1.85 million. The US Attorney says she performed unnecessary surgeries, even “in some cases, caused injury to her patients” but Pandya calls prosecutors claims “unfounded allegations”

Wow - says this is looking like a record Election Day turnout for Georgia. Not just for a runoff, but period. More than November - more than 2020 Presidential election or the 2021 runoff. Not finalized but roughly 1.4 million votes on Election Day.

I just asked the same question about whether GA should end runoffs -says he hopes the legislature will take up the issue: he mentioned options like instant runoff (ranked choice) or plurality- says current system places too much "burden" on county election offices

About 1.9 million Georgians voted early in runoff. More than 800,000 people have already voted in person today - election officials are projecting 1.1-1.3 million by the time polls close. so looking at 3-3.2 million. 3.9 voted in the general

GA SOS COO says SOS office believes "there should be a conversation" about the future of runoff elections in GA: "if we polled Georgians & they had the choice between a 9 week runoff, 4 week runoff & no runoff I have a pretty good idea where that’s going to land"
