@NYPD68Pct Community Affairs and Hate Crime Task Force are looking into the incident. -
Did the officers on scene reach out to the task force for guidance before informing the victims that the assault did not qualify as a hate crime?

Thank you councilmen for addressing this issue. I can't fathom how this is not a perfectly sensible response to the disgusting incident that happened in out neighborhood. I don't know why people carry so much hate in their hearts, especially in our neighborhood of love.
