    A few weeks ago, I held the hand of my brave, strong, beautiful young patient as she was going to sleep for surgery. I was moved by her bracelet: . Today, she gave me my own, which I’ll wear and share with my care team & my daughters.

    I always try to pass the message along to mentees, but these are such personal decisions and so I also want to tread lightly — also, I think this issue will get better when there are more SENIOR female mentors and younger women have a wide variety of role models

    Yes. It does seem like we can of women CEOs in healthcare by 2020. As has show us. We can’t get rid of harassment without equity in leadership.
