- Politico is rarely supportive of Bernie Sanders- this may be a way to discourage Bernie supporting Iowans from voting in the Iowa caucus on Monday.

Yes. To win w/o SDs, he needs 50%+1 of the pledged delegates. But with so many candidates Bernie can win a state, getting the plurality of delegates but not the majority of them. Then we have a contested convention, w Bernie leading the pack. That'd get ugly.
