Note that the online play that I discuss in the review is based off my experience playing throughout every day of the beta, which I was told by Bandai Namco PR would be representative of the full release. I played almost 100 matches of the beta.

On the average... did you feel you were able to pull off what you needed in matches & get those wins despite online latency? Overall, many people blasted away with earth-shattering ki blasts?

Where it gets frustrating, and I touch upon this in the review, is when you can't properly punish homing attacks because of latency. Down+heavy attacks are really the only way to deal with them, because other wise the risk/reward is so heavily tipped towards reward.

Definitely found that waiting/baiting people to rush into auto combos and dashes was the best way to get a lot of wins or big damage off punishes. Crazy how EVERYONE I saw online ended up playing similarly in every match. I never really punished a lot with down + heavy tho...

Yeah those down+heavy punishes are crucial
