Serious Q: Obviously having too few characters in a fighting game is a problem, but is it also a problem to have too many? Getting good at a fighting game is almost as much about knowing what your opponents can do. Does it ever get overwhelming when you've got 40+ chars to learn?

And a roster that's super huge also comes with the overwhelming prospect of having to learn not only the inns and outs of your own character, but others as well. With fighting games also, there's more that goes into each character that you have to know about.

Theres a LOT of that involved in MOBAs too - although I can only speak for HOTS. I often compare HOTS to fighting games bc of this exactly- you've gotta know the right combos and what works on which other heroes and know their playstyles too so you know how to dodge, engage, etc
