I regret using a shift code for borderlands 3. Feels like cheating

I think if you have the opportunity to use a shift gold for a golden chest, then it's not cheating.

One better - if golden chests work in BL3 same as BL2, then it's not cheating at all. BL3 has so many opportunities to get maybe not great but definitely a good gun, or other pieces of equipment, like Typhon chests. PS: Zane is a human shaped enemy shredder.

Right, but those you have to earn. This is just, you get a code, put it in, boom, loot is now sort of meaningless for the next hour or two because the golden chest gives stuff that's so much stronger than what you'd normally get.

Well, considering: 1) the balance in BL3 - somehow good lvl 28 purple can do less damage and have lower score than lvl29 green you randomly pick up. 2) that's 1-2 hours out of happy, in roughly 30-40h of gameplay you spent trash diving in search for good loot. Just enjoy )

Totally am. Just not using any more shift codes

Also, trash diving is literally the game lol. That’s what borderlands is and always will be. It’s a game about that excitement of finding better loot. I don’t want to ever lose that feeling of opening a chest and finding something better while I’m playing
