I felt discouraged from using sub-weapons and ninjutsu outside of parts where they were 100% needed because I was worried I'd run into a boss that required them and I wouldn't have enough stored in my stash.
If I can be critical for a second on Sekiro though, a couple of its mechanics dont gel with me. There is no reason why you can't just get all of your spirit emblems restored when you die.

Also, the resurrection system, in general, is kind of needlessly convoluted. I dont want to go into too many spoilers, but I'll just say, like the emblems, your resurrection charges should really just all refill when you die or rest at an idol.

The game is hard enough already. It doesn't need the added difficulty of not being able to resurrect as many times as your upgrades allow, because you havent farmed enough recently to restore all of its energy.

That being said, HOO BOY some of those late game boss fights are hype as fuck.

How you compare difficulty vs Souls games, easier or more difficult? Souls are just perfect for me, more difficult would be too much grind.

Its hard to say. Its harder in some ways, easier in others. Personally, I struggled less than I typically do in Souls games, but I think that's because I'm much more proficient in twitch heavy action games.

I agree. Late game, you are forced into not using prosthetics. One use of my flame axe literally costs 150 Sen at this point. It's infinitely more annoying than vials in Bloodborne
