    Because I'm in a position to say this, rates for games journalism at most big sites usually look like this: - Short news: $10-$25, or $100-$150 per day - Reviews: $100-$400 (latter is rare) - Guides: $50-$200 - Op-eds: $100-$300 - Features w/ reporting: $100-$800

    Mega Man 3 is the game I remember playing the most of as a child.

    Games journo/critic/writer friends, what is one of the earliest videogames that sparked your interest? I probably don't pick up videogames without Freddi Fish, X-Men (Game Gear), and Mario 64.
