Haha I am patiently waiting for a motion to be passed before sending a bus home to bring my people here. 400 years of being confined in rural area is not a joke

Seriously 400 years ago all land was rural. Why didn't your family build it up?

This is my worst fear! Let the land be expropriated and be fairly shared amongst. How they will do that? It remains to be seen . Knowing our greedy leaders the land will belong to them, their families & friends only but not the masses. Truth be told🙄

The last act... No white man my teach an African to read. Ask yourself why was it allowed for an African to read a Bible? They even allowed the Bible to be translated into indigenous languages around 1960...why?

Please stop. The oldest Bible is the Ethiopian Bible and it’s written in Ahamaric. When the Bible was compiled it was written in Greek, Latin and Aramaic. The first Martin Luther was a Protestant of the Catholic Church. Learn history beyond what they teach you in school!

I meant South African indigenous languages... The current Bible is not even close to the real Ethiopian Bible. I'm referring to the current Bible being read today, which has stories stolen from some of the African Literature.

Religion is what one is taught. Spirituality is what one experiences. Language is not perfect. There are some words that can never be translated depending on language. The same issues you have with the English version will occur again once translated to indigenous languages.

I understand exactly where you are coming from. However, that last line did not mention the Bible. *You* added that I simply expanded on where your reach fell short. People will choose to believe (or not) what they want. I read the last line with literacy competence in mind.
