Someone motioned to nominate Tremaine Wright to be the new Chair. They attempted to move the question w/o seeking further nominations. I tried to object (BECAUSE I WAS STILL MUTED). I nominated Josh Skaller, who is the current 3rd Vice Chair & in line of succession.
With all the proxies of the DLs who did not show up, Tremaine was elected. It is completely my belief that this vote was illegal. County Committee has not adjourned. We are in recess - ExCo does not have the authority to fill a vacancy for a meeting still in progress.

The only way to reverse the decision is to take the Exec Comm to Court. The full County Committee should have filled the vacancy in the Chairperson office, not the Exec Comm.
