As we give thanks: Farmworkers can't work from home. Their hands bring food to our tables. Thank you farmworkers and for keeping us all fed. Sí se puede.
This is such a difficult time for so many. To get unemployment insurance payments out, we are at it 7 days a week, shifts start 6am & end 8 pm. This Easter Sunday we gave our team the option to rest. Over 550 of them still said they wanted to work. They are still at it.💪🏽
Those who lost jobs or had hours reduced due to #CaliforniaWildfires can apply for Unemployment Insurance benefits. The usual waiting period is waived - individuals can be paid benefits for the first week they are unemployed. See response.ca.gov. #CaliforniaForAll
Unemployment insurance should be a human-centered system that supports people during hard times. From the first contact to final resolution and all communication in between, we are committed to making the UI experience better for Californians. 👇🏽
