Exactly at what point did these cops lose their humanity- before they became cops or while they were cops. Of course we need police reform. They aren’t lining up to reform themselves. Cops cover up their crimes.
In Williamson Cty, Texas, Javier Ambler was killed by police after being tased three times. He told officers he had congestive heart failure and couldn’t breathe.

Police reform gets a giant step forward when officers get complete psych evaluations prior to training. Weed out the authoritarian, psychopathic, racist element from the get go. Then yearly psych evals to nip issues in the bud. Full-time staff psychologists @ precinct level.

This isn’t Chody’s first incident - he left APD after beating a black teenager without cause. Among numerous other incidents. If he had settled this issue last year, it would have been swept under the rug like everything else he’s done. So sad, Chody. WilCo deserves better.

They just don't get it! If someone is telling you they are dying, and there are a half dozen of you, with guns, maybe give them the benefit of the doubt and not treat their involuntary reactions to grab their chest as "resisting". Screw the law! Act like a human, not a machine!
