Why are cops so terrified by the thought of accountability and reform?

The whole concept of the blue line is a circling of the wagons to protect the criminals among them. I know there are good cops who hate this but they are bullied into submission. Kind of like the GOP Senate.

Wait, he’s upset and thinks it’s unfair that the cops are being treated like “animals and thugs”? Interesting. It’s been, what, 2 weeks? Imagine how that might feel after 400 years.

Part of me hoped it was performance art like at the end they’d say “this is what Black people have been saying all along and now we commit to change” but no they were just unironically upset at being treated like “animals and thugs” because self-awareness is too much to ask for.

"Stop treating us like animals and thugs." Said without a shred of irony. God these guys are so fragile.

These guys literally beat innocent protestors and this guy has the nerve to be the victim? There needs to be greater accountability.

They even get paid 6 billion dollars to do it.

The disgusting part of this is that this guy is playing the victim. Good cops know who they are and are humbled by the current movement. Bad cops are defensive and beligerant. If you want respect, earn it!

I learned a new term today: tax cut the police. And then reallocate those funds toward groups that care about... other humans. Apparently it has better marketing appeal than the D word.
