I genuinely like you a ton, but counterpoint: Maybe our elected officials should not have to be "pushed" by phone calls & letters & whatnot to motivate them into doing the right thing.

I agree it’s tiresome. They get paid to do a job . Having to constantly hound them to do what’s right is ridiculous. They’re not not our kids they’re growna** elected officials who should have a clue as to what’s right and how to do their job .
