I plan to provide our tenants a lot of flexibility if they are struggling. I hope all landlords and mortgage companies do the right thing. No one should worry about housing while trying to afford food and medical care. Exceptional times call for exceptional responses.

I know people who have been told they could defer paying for a month or two but they have to pay it all within 6 months. No reduction just deferred payment. How does that work w/no job?

Some folks haven't gotten the $1200 yet. So rent will be due again for them.

So other countries are paying people that have lost their income 75-90% of what they were making, in most cases for months. Then there’s the US...a one time payment, an advance no less, of $1200 and that’s it. Wow
