How about those hotel owners - all of them billionaires - step up and donate the rooms, rather than demanding public money? After all, the owner of one of them (Red Rock) threw a $25 million wedding for his daughter two years ago; surely he could donate a few rooms?

yes they have not been willing to work with Clark Couty Social Service been working for 3 weeks to try to contract with hotel motel vendors to no avail. Unfortunately, as you know they cannot force private companies to work with government. - Nog 2 antwoorden

A small percentage 1% of money collected from casinos could help curb the homeless problem for the entire state.

That is all junk, we have heard similar stories in past lottery will fund school and so on. Never happens, how about using the $25 M given to JFK art center be used for a better cause. It will not happen coz that public money will be used for (D) campaigns
