    FYI: No one is defending Alex Jones. Principled people are defending everyone's freedom of speech in the public square, & for due process if that is taken away by the whim of a Billionaire. BTW: They've already come for our show, many times. So I respectfully disagree.

    Lefties defending Alex Jones right now: I hear you, on the surface it appears to set bad precedent to give massive corporations control over who's silenced. But if you aren't performing hate speech, libel or slander on a regular basis, then I don't know what you're worried about.

    Leftists used to recognize without much difficulty that - ethics and the like aside - nothing strengthens fascists and neo-fascists more than censorship. It turns them into martyrs, draws more attention and appeal to them. Every fascist group I've ever known loved being censored

    The antidote to bad speech isn't censorship, the antidote to bad speech is MORE SPEECH not LESS. If you don't like what Alex Jones has to say, then set up a Facebook page to Called "Debunking Alex Jones". Censorship always backfires and has myriad unintended consequences.

    That's been the tactic of censors for centuries: they start with someone who is so utterly hated and marginalized that everyone is blinded by their hatred for the first censorship target that they cheer, and forget that they're endorsing a principle & power that will then expand.

    Everything about this news report is fishy. It was rushed into publication on Friday Night shortly after the vigil was started. The video in the header is more than a year old & only today did they add the audio of the IV with Assange's lawyer. /1
