You actually have to ask this...esp. after O'Keefe's reports came out? Twatter doesn't like people who go against their agenda. By keeping these fake accts up it siphons people away from the real deal...AND the info he provides. You can report it all you want but they don't care.

Well actually, the reality is (now I think about it) most well known people have a verified tick which obvs Julian Assange doesn't which is why it's easier for people to be duped by fake accounts. Nonetheless, it doesn't make those that set them up any less pathetic.

This is why Twitter wont verify JA, so as to enable these fake-JA accounts to be used to produce such disingenuous lying reportage. Twitter is a compromised platform (willingly or unwillingly, it doesn't matter) and the world needs a replacement that isn't and can't be.
