The Electoral College is part of the constitution. It's there so that large populated state's votes don't rub out those from numerous smaller ones, or states vote to elect a dictator. Popular vote does NOT matter. Electoral votes do. It's 8th grade material. Deal with it!

Again, we are a Rebublic! The electoral college was set up so that we didn't have mob rule! We are a republic with a Democratic form of government, that does not equate to a democracy! Democracy equates to socialism mob rule, where others can vote your individual rights away.
