Trump's political capital has been openly looted for months now by GOP, CIA, Netanyahu, Goldman Sachs, etc. Game is clearly to extract as many unpopular positions as possible (e.g tax cuts for the super rich), push the resulting political corpse to Mueller & install Mike Pence.

At first I thought Pence was Trump's insurance policy to keep the left from doing anything stupid, as he's further right than Trump (or as Trump portrays himself to be
). The #ImpeachTrump movement has proven that theory wrong. -
Still, some people seem oddly convinced that getting Trump out of office will give them a President Clinton, because, of course that's how our govt works
We don't use the line of succession, we just install the General Election competition...

That's an interesting take. I've also considered that Trump might be used to push thru major unpopular initiatives (like cutting Social Security) but the man can use his veto power, you know. But he hasn't. Seems too blind/foolish to realize he's committing political suicide.
