#IR35 in 1999 was about - Employee on Friday -> Monday as contractor in same role.
Work for a client.. a small regular task per week for 35 years does not make an employee.

Yes I agree, if you join a true project it takes as long as it takes. Could be 3 weeks could be 5 years either way the client wants skills or particular to that project and wants them gone at the end. Wonder how HS2 or the NHS IT projects would fair under the 2 year rule.
