Thank you for so clearly outlining your views and why you voted as you did. I don’t agree with them but appreciate the openness. Understand you’re somewhat busy but are you able to respond to those of us who have written re council’s plan to sell off Upminster miniature golf?

Yes that’s next on my list of weekend jobs. My apologies for the delay but we are dealing with an extremely high volume of correspondence on a range of complex issues at the moment so I am trying to balance working on those issues with keeping everyone in the loop.

Thanks for your clarity on this. I agree re: WA, it is flawed without even going into the backstop which TM insisted upon. However, what you do not address in terms of thinking about your constituents - particularly YOUNG constituents- is how they will be better off post-Brexit.

As a constituent who supports Remain, I disagree with your views on Brexit but I appreciate you laying out your thought process in making your decisions.

Good luck with the ‘alternative arrangements’ as most articles I have read in the Economist and the FT don’t seem to think they exist. Still think joining the EFTA while we attempt to sign free trade deals with the rest of the world is the best way forward

This is exactly my issue and why MP’s like
@jessphillips stand out. Do the right thing for your constituents, even if they may not agree at the time, they will judge you on how their lives are affected in the end.

As a constituent who would prefer to remain, I would urge you to reconsider your position in light of what is now known about the practicalities of leaving, especially in the time remaining.

Congratulations Julia, on your decisions so far. I can only urge you to continue to vote against May’s so called “deal”. It amounts to servitude. Whatever the (overstated) difficulties of a WTO Brexit, regaining our complete independence must be paramount.

Can you explain what a “WTO Brexit’ is please? Do you mean trading under most favoured nation tariffs?
