Would be good if a decent alternative to the current free movement of goods was proposed. Why will BMW, Toyota, JLR, Honda, Nissan, etc stay in this country if tariffs are placed on imported car parts from Europe??

Basic economics tells us that increased trade barriers will redivert trade / activity / production to domestic mkt, given our huge trade deficit in goods this gives us a big win in the short term. Surely you knew that ?
