Still doesn’t address the issue of Companies in the UK, such as BMW who imports parts from Europe, and are likely to face 10% tariffs on imported parts, so are likely to relocate to Europe. Trade deals take years to complete as regulations are the tricky bit, not tariffs

Perhaps if they relocate we won’t buy their cars, I already know people who have abandoned both BMW and Mercedes!!

What’s the point? I’m in your constituency,vtd remain but would support an EEA/EFTA exit. My understanding is this option does offer the prospect of bespoke trade deals & negates the need for a backstop and therefore getting stuck in perpetuity . See www. http://Eureferendum.com

EEA/EFTA on its own might be acceptable, however the talk now is that +CU which means no trade deals and the same position as Turkey. Norway have made it clear they wouldn't touch that arrangement with a bargepole.
