Principled MP
@JuliaLopezMP for Hornchurch and Upminster says of the Theresa May’s Withdrawal Agreement:- “It is with regret, therefore, that I simply cannot envisage voting for the government’s Withdrawal Agreement in its existing form, and I have informed my whip”. -
The fact that a whip is allowed to coerce MPs tells you all you need to know about how dysfunctional our supposed democracy really is.

Thank you Julia. I agree. I'm horrified that Mrs May wants this nation to enter into a legally binding Treaty & backstop with no unilateral right to withdraw, binding future Governments & Parliaments, & making the UK&NI reliant on the permission of a foreign power and its court.

Theresa May is in an impossible position - trying to please the so-called European Research Group (sic) and not doing too much damage to the economy without upsetting the awful DUP. LIke Raab, she knows we would be better off staying in the EU but is unable to utter the words.
