As a leave voter who wanted us to be free of all EU shackles, I've come to the conclusion that as we are entangled in a spaghetti bowl of 40 yrs of complex rules and regulations, the only solution is EEA/Efta compromise, or economy & jobs screwed

This is a rather frustrating thing to read. Other trade negs do not involve dealing w/the litany of other aspects of deep trade integration based on rules, dispute resolution (courts), transport, competition policy etc that our relationship w/EU involves.
-
Because we want to have a close trading relationship w/EU to minimise disruption to existing trade flows and supply chains, we are negotiating a far, far deeper and more complex, comprehensive relationship w/EU than the average trade agreements
