IMO it is bound to increase the tendency for people to blow off more impactful measures, and increase problems over time, but we seemed determined to handle all of this in the worst possible way, so I guess at least it's on-brand.

Nothing prove that outside mask make a difference. In fact we know that there is probably 95% of transmission inside. Outside with wind uv etc almost no chance. No single outdoor only event have been associated with eclosion

Thank you so much for saying this. My jaw dropped when I read that. This is how governments lose credibility. They can’t say they’re following the science and in the same breath issue a mandate like this. Utterly ridiculous.
