If I lived in Rep of Ireland, I would 100% vote to #RepealTheEighth to allow women access to abortion. But I’m not sure it’s right that such a close vote should be decided by Irish people who have chosen NOT to live in Ireland returning for one day to cast their votes.
There’s actually no way of knowing. Ireland doesn’t keep exit and entry records so anyone can return and use a polling card sent to their old address. No checks are made at polling stations.
