I have a better theory, how about people who pay Tax and NI get fast tracked help at GP Clinics and Hospitals. Those that don’t, wait in the 3 hour queues. Sick of having shite service because places are being taken up by people that don’t pay their way.

At last! Something we agree on - as biggest part of welfare spending is on state pensions it should be means tested so anyone getting more than the national average wage in their pension and/or who own a house worth more than 500k should lose some or all of their state pension.
-
Disagree, you pay for your pension it is not a benefit. Problem is they made it a benefit and now everyone can get it, paid in or not. Wrong!
-
Exactly - I have been paying National Insurance towards my pension for 41 years & I have 10 more years until I can draw my pension. Many pensioners are struggling on state pension. The NHS finances need to be scrutinised and optimised before more money is thrown at it.

No. Stop spending £70m a year on prescriptions for paracetamol which can be bought for 19p in Tesco. Recoup the millions in health tourism and get in managers who can actually do the job rather then wafting in and out of meetings about the next meeting.
-
Yes. Look into the fraud first. More money being spent yet less beds and nurses? So where is the money going? Also cancel PFI loan shark payments if possible

Sit in any A&E and tell me if the demographic inside is the same as the one outside. EU health tourism is a real thing.

I would prefer that the NHS charged for and collected payment for treatment for non entitled patients. This is not an International health system free for all.pic.twitter.com/zp5d8l1NEr

The answer is NO.....end off. We are not in 1940’s Britain we are in over populated Britain and why can’t politicians grow a pair and really start a proper discussion on why the NHS is in such a mess, Population exploitation, half the world has arrived here!

If people suggest unfairness because there are more older people in this country now, they should be reminded that many of the older people have paid a full stamp for 50 yrs or so.
-
And many old people had used services too including free university education, Heath service, universal child benefit, free tv license. I don’t believe we operate a tax system where the more you contribute the more you deserve. I wish.
-
They paid for it. It belongs to them.
-
Actually Wendy, I think you’ll find I’m paying for it, and I’ll snipe as much as I like about it. Don’t forget these are the people who voted leave. I don’t forgive them for that, sucking the lie and opportunity out of the UK like blue rinsed zombies. Paid for it my arse.
-
I’m guessing you’re not from the UK, Tony, you nasty, self-serving cretin

-
Actually Wendy you’re dead wrong on all counts. Not only am I from the UK, I’m also a boomer, the major beneficiary of this unequal disaster we’re inflicting on our youth. I just don’t feel as entitled as the rest of my generation. You nasty self serving cretin.
