On those doom & gloom Treasury forecasts for Brexit. Even the independent OBR’s eminently wise Robert Chote has admitted there’s a “virtually nil” chance of any economic forecast being right. (Dec 2011) pic.twitter.com/nq6Th05O2l

Good reminder! Forecasts, like business plans are an indicator of understanding and should be modified. Some of them indicate a complete lack of any understanding. Economics is not a science. It’s a form of modifying chaos

Carney isn't just inaccurate, he is positively hopeless when it it comes to forecasting. Remember he and Osborne both claimed that within 12 months of a vote to Leave we would go into recession with at least 500k job losses. That's more than just a bit wrong, it's called B.S.!

He can tell you that you'll be £900 worse off due to #BrExit ( a specific sum) but he cant see petrol shooting up, insane house price inflation and people queuing up for food banks. What an embarrassment of a human being (IMHO)pic.twitter.com/d3BpUSkwvQ
