I don't understand the drama More fabric more stitching more time = more cost

So how long will it be before you end up hunting fat people for sport then? Nothing would surprise me given this attitude...
-
It wouldn't be sport... They would fall to the ground exhausted after about 10 metres of running...
-
Ah, so you admit to liking that idea then?
-
No, sillypants. I'm saying that it wouldn't be much sport because it'd be over in seconds. Much like your love making, I suspect.

Seems fair. McDonalds charge more for larger meals. Why not the same with clothes?pic.twitter.com/YuOLfRHjGS

They should change the size labels from 'XL' to 'P' ('P' stands for pig in this glorious new system)

Another example of self-victimisation to get and advantage...I must be the only demographic who can't claim any racial, religious, gender, sexuality, disability discrimination to cover up my own faults.... It's a lonely life being normal...

There was a time...ooh 50 years ago or so, when people were serious about life. We can't get more trivial surely.

Isn't there a case for a retrospective rebate. All those poor slim people have been ripped off for years. Not only have fatties eaten all the pies they have benefited from cheaper clothes.

How much of the retail price of a garment consists of the cost of the actual fabric?
-
As far as I know, and I work in the buying department of a store, the price of the manufacturer indeed considers how much material is used, cost of production of every individual garment (in denim processes that are handmade) and all operative costs.

Surely there can be no argument. Using more material whether it is clothing or anything costs more. End of.
