False statistic - Travellers have to pass through France to get to the rest of Europe - Visitors to Calais are not all visiting France whereby visitors to Dover are visiting UK

When they all see what a sh**hole Paris has become, there’ll be a few less next year, I’ll wager....

I wonder how many it would be if they still had a royal family.

Yes we do. And we know why they did it too. French people at that time were being treated absymally by the aristocracy. Treat people like dirt and eventually they rise up. Nothing strange about that.

History or a sense of foreboding?

Yeah the royal family definitely don’t attract tourist revenue...pic.twitter.com/0DvoQhrfQw
-
Does this gathering happens 365 days a year?
-
-
Hahaha. It wasn't like that last time I was outside Buckingham, a few weeks ago. There was hardly anybody there. Don't pretend royals are out mingling with crowds of tourists 365 days a year, it just isn't happening
-
Don’t pretend they aren’t valuable to tourism because they are. Plus the royals interact with members of the public at events and functions every single day. The queen for example wakes up at 7:30 and has a full working day.
-
I'm not saying they aren't bringing in revenue for the country, I was mostly referring to your massive crowd pic. U seem to insinuate this type of crowd gatherings for and with the royals happen everyday. It just doesn't.
-
Nope, I just used the pic as an example of the huge love the public has for the royals which of course is very valuable money wise.
-
Remind me again how much they get?

It's funny, I was saying only the other day, very rare I hear anybody say 'I'm going on holiday to France' these days.
