Project Fear was very clear about the cost to the UK economy of a vote to Leave, with the impact being seen straight after the referendum not after we actually Brexit.
-
I agree with you that some believed it would be immediate, the fall in the value of the pound and France overtaking the UK to be the fifth biggest economy were two of the immediate impacts.

But...but...confirmation bias. Same as all
#Brexiters. See a headline they believe confirms their position, don’t read the article, tweet like they’ve won some moral victory. Absurd beyond belief. - 1 more reply

Shock a brexiteer pointing out good news about the economy when it is posted. Next I will see a remainer posting bad news about the economy. How about instead both try and see a balanced view

"Some 70 per cent of the firms’ revenues were reported in dollars or euros, making them more valuable in sterling terms." - I also think someone never fully understood the article before tweeting.......

When did we leave? Exchange rates? Corporate Britain doesn’t believe we will leave. City and economy will ultimately decide this nonsense. Tax revenues matter

Buoyant global market. Weak pound. Multinationals. Less exposed FTSE 100. Dollar / Euro revenues. Forecasts. The headline is accurate; the analysis is in the story. Did you bother to read it?
