        I've had no handouts I have had no inheritance I work hard for the money I get I work Shifts I pay Tax/NI I also pay into a private pension I have no qualifications WHY SHOULD I give it away ?

        Why not , at least it’s likely to be spent and ‘trickle down’ to the local economy. Makes as much sense as quantitive easing or a 5% tax break for top earners, so they can add more zeros to their account, benefiting no one🤨
