I just LOVE how you can infer how your believey-feely-beliefs - underpinned with no answer as to why we should agree - trumps well travelled man with perspective and an actually articulated point of view.
Great stuff, Julia.
Truly remarkable.

Ok, then why do you think Klopp’s views trump, say, the former director general of the CBI or the former governor of the Bank of England who both think Brexit is good for the UK? Your logic is absurd.

Does it trump the views of someone who’s been covering British and European politics as a political journalist for two decades as her actual job? I’d bow to Klopp in his knowledge of football.

And your comeback implied that a radio presenter such as myself couldn’t possibly know what she was talking about. Touché.

When did I say his opinion wasn’t valid? I didn’t say anything of the sort. I simply mocked the Remoaner line of seeing every celebrity who criticises Brexit as the definitive word on the issue. I can only write my tweets, I can’t understand them for you as well.

Yeah, just him and many many more people who have thought about it or lived in another EU country. So like, you know, maybe it really really is a bad idea. For England, for the UK and for Europe. And living the customs union is really dim.
-
I’ve lived and worked in another EU country. Still want Brexit.
-
Wow Julia, what is it about those who voted Remain that causes them to be so bilious?

Well of course a German thinks Brexit is bad....EU is run by Germans for the benefit of Germans!
-
You make it sound like the UK is some tiny nation dominated by the Germans when in fact we're the second largest economy in the EU and far from dominated.

By saying "German" and "football manager" you seem to suggest he's not qualified to comment? I'm an "english" "graphic designer" am I allowed to comment or not? Asking for a friend

Well when an obnoxious smug broadcaster says it’s a good idea I’d go with the football manager.
-
Whoops! Here have yet another Remoaner resorting to personal insult. Tut, tut
-
The irony of your response, Roger. For a man as mature in years as yourself resorting to using a schoolyard term such as ‘remoaner’ is incredibly immature.
-
Yep. And no mention of the UK being the slowest performing economy in the last 8 quarters. Beaten by even Greece
We haven’t left yet and we’re still awful. Nissan already shedding jobs and rumoured to having been snagged by Renault. You think they’ll hang around?

-
And also I’d question why it’s okay to patronise a football manager. Remoaner and super proud of it.
