It wasn't the will of the majority of the people though! It was a small majority of the people who voted. 17 million out of a population of 65 million is not the will of the people.

That's a list of Leave lies about #remain, so boring. Meanwhile the Lords decide that the will of the people means membership of the CU. Pity leaving the CU wasn't on the ballot paper.

Never ever ever bought into the "they hold the House of Commons to account". Why the hell have any elected house if the unelected ones above vote against it. Kinda why I voted to leave the EU. Same deal there.

The House of Lords should be elected. But I think PR should be used as opposed to FPTP in The House of Commons. Best of both worlds

No, no and no again. We do not need a second house! It's more flipping politicians to pay for. Why the hell would we do that? How many poxy times do things have to be voted on? If a party gets into power and goes nuts, we vote them out next time.

So? That's the system. They're unelected. Who chooses them? Parliamentary parties... Did brexiters have any objections to unelected Lord Webber flying in? To their scrutinising the referendum bill?

Easy solution: The EU are not going to accept a half in half out Brexit regardless of what way the Lords vote. The Lords gets closed down for good. We walk away with a no Brexit deal & we save money on both paying the Lords their extortionate fees & the Brexit bill. Simples 🇬🇧
