Oh, and “you guys” is a generic term that is commonly used by me and many millions to address a group of people, whether male, female or mixed. If you’re taking offence at that, you need to get a serious grip on your life.https://twitter.com/juliahb1/status/986188298203824128 …

And this is what happens to anyone who dares to question what this tiny minority of militant transgender activists is doing. Unless you agree with every word they say & give in to their demands, you are transphobic. Rdiculous & very damaging to transgender people. https://twitter.com/indiawilloughby/status/986182050943324160 …

Agreed, I'm a trans-woman but use this term all the time in work when addressing our mixed gender team. Activists just make it harder for those of us who just want to get on with our lives.

Yeah thats what i thought, ive noticed willoughby has tendency to pick up on any words being correctly used and twist them round to attempt to show an anti-trans slant, doing her actual 'cause' no good at all. Just looks a pr*ck :)

@JuliaHB1 is correct. Just ask @LFBCommissioner we have been using this term in the London Fire Brigade for years and is done so to build a more inclusive fire service.

Mea culpa - me too, and I’ve been doing it for many, many years prior to this trenche of transgender activists, including in LGBT clubs and venues without any inclination of offense being taken
