I am a fire fighter for the LFB. We are told to refer to each other as ‘guys’ ( meaning male or female) so according to India Willoughby and the Gender Identity Mafia all us fire fighters are guilty of ‘hate speech’ #gratitude

I’ve actually had a number of ‘trans activists’ write to my employer demanding that I’m sacked simply because I spoke at an event regarding the importance of having women only changing facilities at fire stations. Apparently that’s hate speech too.

These people aren't trans activists, they are hateful, misogynistic bastards. They don't know the meaning of activism, they are bullies.
-
& have used this statement to manipulate many within the LGBT+ community and beyond by deliberately misrepresenting

@jameskirkup "the people responsible for the fear and abuse...are not representative of transgender people as a whole; Indeed, some suspect that at least some of the real authors of that fear and abuse are not transwomen but men intent on frightening and diminishing women." -
The Labour party is rife with these men at the moment.

It is a cross-party issue

“you guys”

-
I use it all the time whether I'm talking with mixed, male or female groups. It's standard non-specific language:pic.twitter.com/GdJd4odCj7

Quite so. Some folk will walk many miles to find offence.
-
Is 'folk' offensive? We need to be told. Sure some one will be offended by its gender neutrality.

-
it was carefully selected - not a word I’d ever use normally..

How many times have we heard women referring to each other as "guys". There's nothing offensive about the term. Ms. Willoughby deliberately set out to intimidate on Celebrity Big Brother, and to this day does the LGBT cause no favours.
-
Please do not refer to a lot of us who are gay and support LGB rights as an LGBT community. A lot of us have dropped the T because of the obnoxious behaviour of some Trans extremists who literally label everyone as transphobic!

Very dangerous to trans ppl. We need better representatives. I am a trans person & have been transitioning for 6 years- over those 6 years activists have become more powerful & it has only made my life more difficult. No one cared 6 years ago. They do now it has become political.
-
Please know most of us realise these nuts do not represent the whole. X
-
They don't speak for us even though they claim to. When we speak we are accused by the activists of "internalised transphobia". It's maddening. I'm glad people realise it's a crock.
-
Jesus! It must feel so patronising!!
-
Major reason why I left the SJW crowd. You were only valuable to them if you mindlessly supported their "cause". When you disagree with them they become some of the most bigoted people I've ever met.
-
Yeah me too!! My gender presentation is feminine but that's about it, I couldn't stand being told I had a lady brain or that I'm 'cis' as I 'feel' neither. Anyway, these people have been in an echo chamber too long the fresh air will hopefully do them good.
-
Also seeing my lesbian friends being told they had 'Cis privilege' over these heterosexual white males was also too much!!
-
It's the most bigoted way of thinking. Divide us into groups and judge us accordingly. The KKK could not have invented a more bigoted system of thinking if they tried...
