I get why people don’t want the UK to take military action in Syria. But stop pretending your stance is a moral one. Be honest & admit what you REALLY think: “Its awful that Syrian kids are killed in chemical attacks but I just don’t care enough to try to do anything about it.”pic.twitter.com/mMYGiIPeiM

How about the people of Syria simply elected another President if they wanted change?

Quite the opposite. He was elected in 2014 with 88,7% of the votes, so why don’t we leave it to the Syrians to decide.

You know elections in Syria aren’t free and fair, right?

Sources please? Do you count the votes? Do you live there? Do you know what the people want? Oh, and the last two elections here haven't exactly been majority votes. Hung parliament - forced coalitions. If you ask me, that's not free and fair either...

You know our head of state is a monarchical executive authority, how many boys must die for democracy they're not admitted?

Of course not. But in your own country, you didn't allow Syrians to vote..... is that free and fair Julia?

You think Syria is ever going to be a liberal democracy? You think China is a democracy? Should we attack them? If we attack Syria the "moderate groups" who are nothing more than extremist lunatics will fill the void!

You know the U.K. America Israel and the Saudis are arming training and providing air support for ISIS right. So how is our stance in anyway morally justified when all we’ve wanted from the start is to depose Assad and turn it other to radical jihadis like Libya and Iraq.
