Hey, chief superintendent, why are you calling the killing in self-defence of a violent career criminal a “tragic death”? The burglar wasn’t the victim - even now. The elderly couple whose home he invaded & whom he attacked are the real victims.https://twitter.com/metpoliceuk/status/984150935357345792 …

Yes he was a burglar, yes he was wrong but he was still someone’s son, brother, friend and they may not view him as criminal. They have a right to commemorate him how they want!

They have a right to mourn him but not necessarily to do so in any way they choose wherever they choose.

Gotta love the PC term Traveller for the Gypos, considering given the chance they will squat in one place as long as possible. 🤔

I was once on jury duty. We found a young traveller guilty , being caught red-handed in a home burglary. Afterwards we needed a police escort out of the area, as the family were threatening and intimidating the jurors. They have no sense of morality or respect for law/property.

The family leaving tributes on someone else’s property is the same disrespectful attitude that the burglars had in the first place. They knew him as a thief and didn’t care about hurting others. They can mourn in church or home. This is a blatant attack on the victims

They obviously have the right to mourn their deceased family member / friend but any physical tributes (flowers, poems etc) should be limited to the graveyard plot. What next? They insist on having a shrine for him in the room of the house he was stabbed? Bonkers!

Does this apply to the shrines on the side of roads to accidents or just to people YOU deem unworthy
