Dear @LeaveEUOfficial, your tweets are doing a terrible disservice to Brexit voters. Your tweets are often crude, divisive and nasty. I don’t know what you’re trying to achieve but I’m pretty sure the British people don’t want it. Please stop. https://twitter.com/leaveeuofficial/status/981124042123087873 …

You are so blind you cannot grasp that you are standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Leave_EU.
-
Is she...... Or does it suit you to lump the 52% of people that voted Brexit together.
-
Everyone saw that poster. It was deliberately released close to the referendum day. Anyone who voted Leave did so knowing who they stood alongside.
-
My in laws literally voted on the strength of that poster. My 13 year old son had to tell them why it would never happen. Imagine his horror at realising he could perform critical thinking that his grandparents were unable to. His relationship with them will never be the same.
-
That is awful to hear, the same as the £350 Million for the NHS.
-
It's genuinely horrible to watch. My husband feels the same aswell. He's so disappointed in them and there is nothing I can say to make it better. They genuinely aren't bad people, they aren't rabid nutters. I think they would take it back if they could tbh.
-
They're still family, it may hurt and you may disagree, but nothing should come between you.
-
Sadly, it's too late. Damage is done and it can never be undone. My son idolised his grandparents, they were his favourites, he still loves them but its hard when you're told "you'll just have to suffer like we did"... When he questioned them as to why they voted it.

Eventually! If by eventually you mean not in anybodies lifetime, then yes. Turkey applied to join the EEC back in 1987 and over the 35 Chapters needed to join the EU they had only completed ONE in 30 years, yep, eventually.
-
Given that the EU pretended that the Greek economy complied with the rules for joining the Eurozone I don't see why they won't admit Turkey if it suits them, regardless of their adherence to the 35 Chapters.

#Brexit supporters don’t have a scooby who Erdogan is. But what they respond to is irresponsible political leaders and media commentators abusing national stereotypes and promoting images of hordes of invaders waiting to take away our national identities -

Erdogans take over and change of EU policy happened before Brexit vote. Turkey joining was just more xenophobic scare tactics

Don’t be silly, France would always veto any move to allow Turkish accession.
-
Then why are we STILL paying in millions of pounds to their Accession Fund? Can’t rely on anyone in western EU to veto Turkish entry. Only Hungary, Czech & Slovenia l8kely to do that....for now.

So to be clear, you supported Brexit because you didn't like the UK having a say in EU policy; and further, you don't trust British democracy to form our sovereign policy?

There is a big difference between Turkey joining the EU eventually, in several years time and after a lot of internal reforms, and a poster suggesting that its joining was a fait accompli. You are also forgetting that Cyprus and Greece both have a veto.
