Not sure how Julia HB got in on the tweet Trev, but if she wants to give the boys from Rotherham U/18 Colts rugby a shout out !?
I think we’ve had enough of Mr Blair’s opinions on political matters. He decided to opt out of government and settle for making “loads of money” We don’t want him back!
Nobody takes that totally discredited war criminal serious, he just hasn't realised yet how totally irrelevant he is,
Of course not. Blair didn't want any control on our borders or waters.
How many new laws did Blair create in his time? Reportedly about 1 a day for 9 years. EU also extravagant w/ their Rules & regulations! Are we supposed to be comforted by Blair's boast that EU didn't prevent him from stitching us up? "More Laws, Less Justice"! - Cicero 106-43BC
Says the guy who wanted to be president of the EU
And, as someone pointed out, Tony's fibbing. Ask him about VAT on domestic fuel.
Give the guy a break, the walls are closing in on the echo chamber he is living in as an increasing number of British people accept the verdict in the #EUref and just want to see it delivered.
Can you actually make this more specific - how exactly does what he said show that he is part of ‘the problem’? BTW, which exactly is ‘the problem’? Just throwing out a provocative dig at him is not the same as putting forward a counter argument
What EU laws would you like to change in a year’s time, Julia, or at any rate when the transition period ends? Bonus points if you can identify any EU laws that UK government objected to and were imposed by the EU. Particularly laws that anyone actually cares about. We’ll wait.
How about controlling our borders,
We already do control our borders (or can do). The UK Govt can and should do more - e.g., exit checks, ID cards, etc. - but chooses not to do this and then blames the EU when it can’t keep track of people coming and going. Pretty pathetic really.
Julia, so interested to know which is the first law you would pass if we leave. ( i.e one that the EU is currently stopping us from passing. )
She’ll struggle with that one

Set our own VAT rate or remove from certain products.
Ideally what would you set our VAT rate to ?
I think feminine hygene products should be zero rated, don't you?
So that's the most important law that you would change. Number 1 - top of the list !
I can't change any laws! But I see no answer to my question.
Sure feminine hygiene products should be zero rated. In fact zero rated across europe to make it a level playing field would be best. Surprised that is the best example you could come up with.
