Why's Brexit relevant to students?
Being able to go to any University in 28 countries without restriction
Erasmus AND the ability to actually use it by living abroad after
EU funding universities. Kind of important to students when lecturers are striking over pay

Just a question, but do you categorically know for certain they won't be able to join the same overseas universities after brexit?
-
Was about to ask the same question Darren

-
@mrdarrenperry If you vote to restrict immigration, it cuts both ways. Even if it didn't. What do you think it will do to the british incentive to study abroad if we don't get to live abroad after? -
That's a seperate question, you're creating a straw man argument here Femi I asked if you knew they couldn't join the foreign uni's as your tweet implied. But that's wrong. And so now you decide to present a different argument?! Just tweet the facts, it's much more trustworthy
-
If Harvard accepts me to their university, great! But that doesn't mean that I as a Brit have the right to live in America for 3 years. So when I say that restrictions on immigration cut both ways. I mean for students too. The right for students to live in EU countries is EU LAWpic.twitter.com/YCoOdclEXW
-
But how do you KNOW what the future deal with the EU will be? You don't. You're really missing the point here Femi, I like you and agree with the vast majority of what you say, but please don't pretend you can see the future. You don't know what the final deal will be on this
-
OK, then we're at an impasse. However we can agree on this. We'll find out in october whether these things have been guaranteed. If they haven't sorted out stuff like this, or the northern irish border conundrum, it would be irresponsible to let them just leave anyway.

I can't respond. I'm not a student and anyway my option isn't listed: 'to be avoided at all costs'
-
Nor am I but I am temporarily holding that widely trumpeted Brexiteer belief that we are all students in the university of life!

-
I’m 71 and still a student. I intend to be a student until the day I die.

Because they are very important issues to intelligent thinking people. I can see why it confuses you.

Why are you discussing the NUS? You aren’t a student, are you? Stick to things you really know something about. That should be a brief monologue.

Jeepers Julia, this is astonishing. I really can’t believe you’re asking this question. All three of these issues hugely affect students, and they are students, who are there to debate and learn. Why do you continue to attempt to inspire anger in ‘the people’?! Have some class.

Erm.. because they are? Do you think students aren't affected by Brexit prostitution and abortion? Wise up Julia, you're coming across as a right bloody idiot.

Brexit = Erasmus; Prostitution = debt; Abortion = sex. In what way are any of these NOT issues that could affect students? Or do you think they should just have debates about Pot Noodles and University Challenge?

Brexit matters to students because it will make it much harder for them to study in European countries

Are you drunk?
