A: She is a professor. B: She's right. C: By saying "indigenous communities" Rees Mogg means "white people." D: He's whistling for the EDL dog. E: You know that.https://twitter.com/JuliaHB1/status/978607084089593856 …

What do you think he meant by "indigenous communities"? It's a term Nick Griffin used to use.
-
Do you not believe there ate indigenous communities in the UK, Otto?
-
Not really. It's a silly term. We don't have a homogenous culture and never have. None of us are "pure" descendants of Celts or Anglo Saxons. Race and identity are complex and all the more fascinating for it.
-
Why are you shifting the goalposts from "indigenous" to "homogenous"?
-
What does "indigenous" Briton mean? No such thing.
-
It's a term used by white supremacists. They think it's clever because they're trying to equate "original people" of say Australia with white Europeans. It's a false analogy.

https://twitter.com/juliahb1/status/978905196641292288 … So you don’t consider any of Rees Mogg’s remarks to be deliberately inflammatory or racist?

But you haven't. You haven't even questioned it. You're either a hypocrite or very naive.
