The relevance is it's very easy to say "the economics don't matter!" when you are unlikely to be on the sharp end if it all goes horribly wrong. The success of the £350m a week bus suggests that to a lot of Leave voters money *did* matter.
-
You have no idea whether Leave voters were influenced by the bus or any other campaign tool on either side. Everyone is affected if the economy tanks.
-
Dominic Cummings, I think, credited the bus as one of the Leave's campaign most effective tools. And not everyone is affected equally if the economy tanks: those who have savings and assets will fare better than those living hand to mouth, and it's silly to pretend otherwise.
-
It was effective for provoking Remain to constantly argue about the huge sums paid to the EU every year which helped Leave.
-
Sure. But, while anecdote isn't data, the Leave voters in my family were definitely angry about the idea of the UK throwing that much money at Brussels.
-
Yes, but that was a simple fact that had little to do with a bus

No, they were lied to by people like you who said it was all going to be ok, even though it's already costing them more each week they go shopping and we haven't even left yet.

“A majority of working class Labour voters chose to vote for Brexit” Did they? Where’s your evidence for that?

Can you point to a single prominent leave campaigner admitting we’d be worse off during ref campaign but saying it wasn’t about money?
-
They wouldn't be able 2 say we would be worse off cos nobody knows if we will without knowing what deal we have with EU or any other deals we will have with other countries & how the world economy is.Exactly the same as before we decided not 2 join Euro!no-one has a crystal ball!

No the majority of Labour voters voted to remain. According to polls. But pollsters never really know how people voted, just how they say they voted. But if you're going to believe polls, at least quote what the pollsters actually published.

You mean all those economic warnings dismissed as Project Fear by the side they ultimately believed and voted for? Specifically giving reassurances about the economic impact then claiming it was never about the money is a bold, bold claim.
