Agree with? Why are you asking that? You and the “professor” clearly think this is code for a racist term. The vast majority of indigenous Brits are white. That’s a fact, not a moral position.

A bit silly really considering virtually all British indigenous “whites” originate from Europe so essentially we are the same as all those dirty French Germans Spaniards we as a country dislike so much.

Yeah Out means Out! Do you see how silly you are now

Sorry, I’ve been napping. You bored me to sleep.

Sleep is her defence mechanism. Always kicks in when she loses an argument. So, very often.

Er Julia, she is a history professor. Facts and expertise is really a combination too far for you, isn't it?
-
She can’t be a very good professor if she doesn’t know what simple words like “hate” and “speech” mean, can she?
-
Ah! JHB plays the "smug superiority" card by belittling her target. Rather than take a moment to question her own beliefs when confronted by an eminently qualified academic, she chooses to dismiss and attack. Brexit, in a nutshell
-
The deeply ignorant broadcasting to the deeply stupid.... You're worse though, Julia. You chose ignorance and bigotry as a career move
-
Well said, Robbie. JHB saw Brexit as a lucrative career opportunity. She sold her soul and adopted a persona. She may now believe the obnoxious hate filled crap she spouts. I neither know nor care. I won't listen to any more of it.

You don't get to be a professor easily in the UK. You need brains. However, you don't need any qualifications to talk the kind of rubbish you do on Twitter and the radio.
@cliodiaspora -
I’m a bit fick, me.

About the only true thing you ever said.

I've lost all respect for the term "Professor" now. Some, over the last number of years have really mucked it up for me.
-
To be fair, look at the institution where she is a prof...
-
Or give us a full academic criticism of some of the articles she has had published.
-
I have no interest in her. I was referring to the title "professor" in general, which for me, has taken a knock-back over the years. Something I used to give auto respect to, has disappeared. Just a view on a title.
-
You shouldn't give automatic respect to a title; that would be an 'appeal to authority' type fallacy. However, using your lack of respect for her title to criticise is just as invalid. Why not read her published articles and give criticism of those?
-
Once again. I was referring to a sub-section of the original point, which was the generic title of professor, whoever it may be. I don't care about the person referred to in the original point.
-
Perhaps clumsy to make such a generic point in a thread where her academic credentials were being attacked.
-
Okay it was "clumsy". Please untag me now.
