Hi @Andrew_Adonis why aren’t you directing your anger at the nasty backward religious intolerance that meant a gay man had to lie to his family, rather than being angry at his ex boyfriend who was open about their 18 month relationship?https://twitter.com/andrew_adonis/status/977659321092800512 …
I didn’t see anything in Andrew’s tweet to suggest he was angry at both. Please point to where I missed that

Someone else did it first, so you do it too? It's whataboutery. He was tweeting specifically about one thing, you piped up to say 'what about this other thing that you don't acknowledge and therefore invalidates what you have said.' It's the death of discourse.

And it's very cheap.

I am angry at homophobia. I am not angry at gay people who are open about their relationships. Does that clear it up for you?

Coming out is a personal choice. Surely you understand the implications of that? You are quite right to be angry at homophobia - you do not need a tweet from Andrew Adonis to act as a springboard to display that anger, unless you are trying to display your moral superiority.
